Jason earns Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) Designation, Financial Planning’s Highest Standard
Jason Wheeler, CEO and wealth consultant at Pathfinder Wealth Consulting, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) professional designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
Candidates for the ChFC® designation must complete a minimum of nine courses and 18 hours of supervised examinations. They must also fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements. Over 50,000 individuals have been awarded the ChFC® designation since its inception in 1982 and the credential is widely regarded as the highest standard of knowledge and trust for financial planning professionals.
The ChFC® program prepares professionals to meet the advanced financial needs of individuals, families and small-business owners. ChFCs can identify and establish specific goals and then formulate, implement and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals. Individuals who earn a ChFC® can provide expert advice on a broad range of financial topics including financial planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation, life and health insurance, business taxation and planning, investments and retirement planning.

Entrepreneurfest 2014 Annual Networking Dinner
Jason Wheeler served as the speaker for the annual networking dinner of Entrepreneurfest 2014. Jason, who was recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus of the Cameron School of Business in 2013, presented the topic “Starting, Growing, and Managing a Business: What I’ve Learned So Far.” The event, which was cosponsored by UNCW’s Entrepreneurship and Business Development program and UNCW’s Entrepreneurship Club, was held at the Madeline Suite on the campus of UNCW.
